Jamea Tul Hidaya

Establish in 1976
Jamea tul Hidaya is a renowned Islamic educational institution established by Hazrat Maulana Mohammed Abdur Rahim Mujaddidi, a well-known Islamic scholar. The idea was introduced 75 years ago by Hazrat Maulana Mohammed Hidayat Ali Mujaddidi, and it took 25 years of discussions to launch it. The Muslim population in India, the second-largest in the world, has struggled for equal status for decades due to economic, educational, and political issues.

A group of people from all over the country gathered at a deserted land surrounded by hills to welcome great scholars and intellectuals for the inauguration of Jamea-Tul-Hidaya. Hazrat Maulana Syed Mohammad Sohrab Ali presided over the function, and Moulana Syed Abul Hasan Ali Nadwi laid the foundation stone of the institution. Two years later, the foundation stone of the hostel building was also laid.
On December 8th, 1985, the grand and magnificent Jamea-Tul-Hidaya was inaugurated in Jaipur, Rajasthan. The ceremony lasted for two days and was attended by thousands of scholars and well-wishers from all parts of the country. Maulana Syed Abul Hasan Ali Nadwi, a close associate of Maulana Shah Mohammad Abdur Rahim, reminded the audience of the noble aims for which the Jamea was founded.
During the function at Jamea-Tul-Hidaya, Janab Abdul Hai Shamim proposed the name ‘Wadi-e-Hidayat’ for the valley, which was unanimously approved by the audience and Honorable Shri Nawal Kishore Sharma, The Central Minister for Petroleum, and Janab Irshad Baig Mirza, M.P. The location impressed everyone with its grand building, beautiful landscape, and natural science beauty.
