Crescent Academy

For Civil Services Exam

Crescent Academy

The Executive is a crucial part of democracy, and honest bureaucrats can help keep politicians in check. Unfortunately, there is very little representation of our community in Civil Services. Efforts are needed to address this issue, especially in important areas like media and Civil Services coaching. Despite the growth of private coaching centers, our community lacks representation in this sector as well.

In 2001, Maulana Mohd. Fazlur Rahim Mujaddidi took on the challenge of filling a void and initiated his efforts to do so. Thanks to his revivalist spirit and revolutionary thinking, the role of Muslims is now prominently visible, at least in U.P. and Delhi. In the academic institutes he established, students from all backgrounds prepare for competitive examinations without any discrimination based on caste or creed. We can confidently affirm that the graduates from our centres will discharge their duties with dedication and honesty, without any form of discrimination, wherever they may be appointed.

The first centre of Crescent Academy was established in Aligarh in 2002. A second centre was opened in Lucknow, and the third was established in December 2003 in Delhi for the preparation of Central Civil Services Exams. In 2004, Mr. Mohd. Iqbal Khan, having extensive experience in the academic and coaching sphere, was engaged as the Director to steer the academy.

The Delhi centre takes charge of developing academic strategies and planning for the efficient functioning of the academy. They actively assist aspirants in preparing for the Interview and Personality Assessment, an integral part of the Civil Services Exams, by rigorously conducting mock interview sessions. Assignments and course content are robustly developed through collaboration between faculty members and the academic staff of Crescent Academy.
